Gears Of War 3 Mission Impossible Event

Well, I was just wondering what you guys think you would have to do for the "Exclusive Weapon Skin" I hope it's a transparent weapon skin. Also, I hope the challenge isn't really easy, I actually want to weapon skin to be exclusive and not more 99.9999999999999999% of the gears players.

There's a lot of theories and personally I hope it's an endurance thing such as get 'this' many kills or experience and not some Horde or Campaign thing where you just have to do them on Insane. If it is they can keep the skin

The name was change from the impossible mission to ghost protocol. Is it clever reference or a chance at marketing the new movie?

There is an announcement due, as to what this is tomorrow.

I doubt it, as the event starts this week and the DLC isn't out until December.

Hmmmmm.....well tomorrow's announcement will be most interesting.... Plus 2 new maps on Thursday!

Complete Gears of War 3 on Insane Difficulty by December 25, 2011 either in single or multiplayer mode and unlock exclusive Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol Weapon Skin Pack. This pack comes with weapon skins for the Lancer, Retro Lancer, Hammerburst, Gnasher and Sawed-off Shotgun. Those that have already completed the game on Insane will automatically receive the pack on December 31.

Well that was a let down! Oh well at least I'll get some new skins.

I would assume it'll just read wheather you've got the insane achievement.

This is a bit of a let down really.... I was hoping for some epic mission! Something new or a bit different.... New skins for free....

Well at least it will urge people to go for the Onyx if they haven't done it already...

Hope the gibbiting event is better - well it does have the cluckshot!!

I don't think I could have been any more underwhelmed to be honest.

Wow I can't believe that's all it turned out to be! So basically I do nothing since I already completed the campaign on insane. But anyway some new skins but still what a let down this event was

They look like a poor mans version of the camo skins (which I'm personally not a fan of anyway).

How do you get these yucky skins?

Just download the free new map pack and It'll pop when you load the game up, as you've already finished campaign on insane.

I didn't know there was new map packs...oh come to think of it, I havent played it in a week lol.

So the big fuss about the new maps has actually happened.

Yeah and the two new ones are pretty decent. Especially the swamp one, as you can release the KRYLL.
