War Supporter

I have noticed a fair few people have managed to get this Achievement recently.....was there a glitch or something? My medal states I have participated in 8 events....I definitely haven't.... Very odd goings on.

To be honest I am happy to wait for mine and just keep playing the events as they come - another medal to look forward to and a bunch of Gamerscore!

Yea it's very glitchy I got 12 events I think it should be at about 6 now and I don't have a clue how or when it went up to 12!

I remember there was a glitch when gow 3 first came out when you played in the first event you got +1 to your war supporter medal every match you played

The glitch has been patched recently since alot of people got Socialite achievement.

The glitch is apparently up and running again, it is tied to the weekend events. It is NOT a bannable offence according to Epic's Twitter. Very Happy

And: Is it true that the combat engineer ribbon can only be done once in every Horde match???

If not - why the bloody hell can I not get more than one every match????

Yea the combat engineer ribbon can only be earned once per match on the first wave. Yea I know that's bad but that's how it is Sad

Mate of mine got the achievement the other weekend because apparently once you got your original ribbon in standard versus then it kept giving the ribbon in each private match he played after.

Apparently there was no more gold - which in Publik's case is a bloody good job as the Bling on his 24th prestiged Gear would have been blinding him and everyone else in his game!!!

Would rather play as a Drone... lol i haven't be able to play Gears 3 much, still can't get a new copy untill after thanksgiving
