is the oil slick skin worth buying

it looks cool the way that it is presented on the game and marketplace but how does it look in game, dont want to regret paying points for a skin

I'm frowing to like the Ghost skin - especially when playing as locust. It really stands out!

Oil skin is crap!! i bought it and it looks poor....

Try the Lambent skin...far better....

i quite like the ghost protocol, am slowly phasing it out by getting onyx skins tho :p

im not a fan of the gold omen, put it on when i got my wings after one match i was back to ghost.

but, back to the point in hand, the oil slick looks kool, but theres only so much you can tell from a vid

I must admit I've got back to flames now, and gold for the Retro.

I used lmg for awhile then went all beta and flamming FTW still have my retro golden but I started using things like team pulse and plasma I try to use ones I don't see people using I like oil slick and ocean its like oil but blue

I like the oil slick skins, but I don't think I'd notice if anyone was using them as they're quite dark.

In a blur of combat I found onyx normal and oil slick quite close to each other

I agree, and the Onyx at least has some prestige.

Only difference between Onyx and Oil, Oil has a black and small blue tint to it, the animation is on top and slides to the bottom of the gun, onyx is Black with a little bit of blue.

They're so similar that you could probably pass them of as the Onyx skins. LOL

Ya, First 2 i got was Onyx Gnasher and Onyx Lancer, next is SO shotgun, Retro, then Hammerburst. then i get 2 more onyx medals after the Hammer, because of the Master-at-arms and Rifle Master Medals, 6,000 kills is alot to get tho lol

Will try, but after getting 23,000 something kills for 2.0 on gears 2, i guess getting as many onyx medals as i can would help me lvl offline, no gold atm lol but dunno a quick way to get lvls offline
