New Lancer and Old Lancer

Subject: New Lancer and Old Lancer Fri Apr 01, 2011 8:12 am

Well it's been confirmed the old Lancer (with the chainsaw) and the new lancer with the knife attachment will both feature in Gears of War 3.

With the new Lancer you can run and charge at your opponent and stick the knife in to kill them but if 2 players do this to each other then both players will die. Also if your using the new lancer and running and someone with the old chainsaw Lancer being revved up then the old chainsaw Lancer will win!

good! chain saw is annoying IMO doesnt work all the time, got me killed plenty of times too.

There is nothing worst than getting chainsawed in multiplayer. Hopefully less and less players will use it.

the retro lancer is BEAST!! it is true, its like an AR that you MUST burst fire to be kinda accurate.. or hipfire at close range and be a shotgun and down people fast

Is it true that you can down someone with half of the clip?

I am down with using the the retro lancer. Can't wait to get a chance to use it.

yes but its very unaccurate like i said nothing seems op or anything.. there's a way to beat everything

The retro has ZERO accuracy. Only effective at short range and charging people with the bayonet will more than likely end in your death if they see you coming.
Having a retro and a shotty as your weapons really limits you to short range gameplay.

lol its accurate.. just you can snipe with it.. if somone is running towards or away from you.. you WILL win hands down

It's excellent for downing nearby or charging enemies.
