My preorder from game early access demo code has just arrived :-)

graphics are better than gow 3 , turrets are way over powered and its a frag fest , frags regen to fast so frags all over the show , cog have the upper hand with everything , corpser the top locust dies way too easy , i dont really enjoy multiplayer anyway but my son is playing and enjoying , looks good but cud do with a few tweeks with frags n turrets

Well a honest opinion of the game, like it. Not likin the sound of the frags tho, bit worrying. Thanks for your view on it, and fair playing giving it a honest opinion and not a "fanboy" opinion. lol,

Could imagine a few on here who would say it was best game ever regardless of any bad points, lol.

my son and me have played 3 hours now , I love the whole gears franchise but have to say NOT impressed , this early access shud have been a beta then they cud tweek things , san off is under powered , but the Frags ffs , people just camp and toss frags , and not 1 team we have played with choose each class , so kindda makes it harder , there does seem alot of inbalances , hopefully the full game with survival and other modes will be alot better .. overall so far Not impressed sad to say :-(

in store m8 , im in England seemed like alot of folk got the email at the same time about 7.00pm uk time. and the epic forums they are all blowin smoke up epics ass , think theres only me saying not impressed ..lol

As I say mate, its nice too see an honest opinion about the game, especially since you're on a gears forum, lol.

Just checked my emails and found a code for the beta!!! Forgot I had a preorder with them. lol

Played about an hours worth..... Really impressed so far.

Overrun is definately a mode which requires teamwork. Looking forward to getting the NME together for this.

So what do you think of the frags Publik? Weapons and such?! What makes it so awesome? We've heard why Scotts not too impressed, what makes you think its so good?

Like he says , i was playing on my own , maybe if your wit mates or in a clan/team with tactics might be different , but overall nahh and i was so excited when i got the code and got in a game lol

The frags are getting abused a bit, but to be honest nowhere near as badly as the gnasher. LOL

I used them more frequently myself, so I see it a a positive move.

The gameplay is a lot faster, as they promised.

I also found myself hitting the D-Pad to change weapons but that will just take getting used to, and I feel that it's an improvement.

It is a very exciting game type, and I'm looking forward to getting the clan together for some Overrun.

Over run could work out to be a very interesting mode as well as a very frustrating mode, its a team based game type that people who dont play in a team will find it hard to get team work going.

Think we will eventually see not so many people playing it, people on their own won't want to play because they will come up against teams working together and just battering them as their team of mixed people won't work together.

that's my worry hope I'm wrong.

I have a group of m8s i play gears with , they aint got the demo .. but even then i doubt ill play it much , we play horde all the time love that mode , and im not into multiplayer as such really but , that was my honest opinion of the demo as me n my son saw it

Coolio, yeah I'm not gears biggest fan of multiplayer, horde was ok, for me gears is all about the campaign, I'm just waiting to get on that.

Don't think I need too now mate, spoke to the missus's brother the other day he's coming down for the week from London and he's getting the game so we going to do our run through of the game while he's down. We've completed ever gears together so kinda a tradition

So if we do manage it I won't need to buy it. Save myself some wonga
