Saints Row IV Trailered, Going Buckwild This August

We didn't think it was possible, but it looks like Volition might top Saints Row: The Third in the insanity stakes with Saints Row IV, slated for release on current-gen consoles this August. There's a debut trailer showing the madness in action, which looks to pick up where The Third left off, pouring on a whole crapload of extra crazy.

With Deep Silver picking up the license from THQ following the publisher's recent demise, it doesn't look like Volition has missed a beat, with super-powered characters who can apparently leap skyscrapers in one bound and a dubstep gun that kills people with eardrum-bursting electro tunes.

But really, nothing we can write here will prepare you for the madness in the debut trailer. Volition is tearing up the open-world rule book again it seems. Saints Row IV is coming on August 20th, 2013 in North America and August 23rd, 2013 in Europe.

So excited for this, Loved all the saints row games, this just looks wikid fun.
