In general

Last night i decided to play private ffa with some of my online friends
And it was not actually bad to play great fun when it's all your mates your playing ,

Overrun is class much better with different map

TDM, same as usual good fun (tho you spawn a different place all the time)

Domination, i havnt actually played much of this look decent enough if you have a full team

Survival, same as overrun only against better locusts cpu only

Campaign, wot iv played of it im impressed

Aftermath havnt even touched it yet.

So Game is not bad but it does have some problems which could be fixed easy,

Hope to see in future
EXECUTION, WINGMAN, WARZONE, CTL/GUARDIAN
alot more maps as there is only 4 of them

My problems with it, starting to be like CALL OF DUTY which i hate,
im hoping set spawns will be back too
and im not to sure about the loadout system

My main gripe is that seem to be getting shot through walls. Pi$$es me off.

Overrun is a great, really good fun love being the locust.

Domination i've only played once and got very confused. Best played in a team.

Free for all was funny, even though i got whooped it was good fun.

Not tried survival yet so think shall have to have a go on this tonight.

Campaign so far is good. Not really sure what's going on with it as I'm finding it hard to understand where main mission starts and side missions end. But only did a bit last night so think going to take time to really get into it. Really like the new characters too.

So far really enjoying it!

The 'Campaign' seems to be extremely lame. Thin storyline built around repetitive gameplay. The friendly AI at times is atrocious... standing right next to you and not reviving and often getting in the way.
Not impressed, not impressed at all. Makes me long for the days of 'It's a giant worm!'

Sounds like you need to play co-op to enjoy the campaign then.

Co-op ain't gonna make it a better campaign though. The campaign is in reality chunks of gameplay strung together with no cohesion. Anyone familiar with PCF's previous effort Bulletstorm will no doubt get the same feeling I have that Judgment is nothing more than an elongated 'Echoes' mode.

I hope most people enjoy the game but I have to put my hands up and say it isn't for me which is a shame considering how much I love not only the previous games but also the books and comics surrounding it. Just hope I get a fair whack back for it when I trade it tomorrow.

Well I for one really like it. sure it has flaws but so have all the other gears games. I like the changes, and there are enough there to freshen everything up.
I don't think that the Maxim promotion has helped this game at all. Sure it's free but they have made the released game feel like it's lacking, as 4 MP maps isn't enough. However that will be sorted shortly at no extra cost, and the return of Execution will make the Vets happy.

Even if you trade it in, I bet you'll end up picking it up again in the future.

Well, the wifey and I got into the campaign last night....overall, had a blast! I like the new "star" system....and the "declassified" options.....makes it different....all in all, glad to have a new Gears game to play!!!

Finished Campaign today, gotta say I loved it, excellent game, really enjoyed the mission set up, liked how it was set out, you telling the story. Had a great time playing it. Not tried aftermath yet, nor any other modes as of yet but all in all I am lovin this game and has made me fall back in love with the franchise like I use too. Just wann play gears one now!! Lol

not really, we took our time and explored the levels found 26 tags just from looking around. We where on it from 1 till 4 yesterday morning and then 11 till 6:30ish tonight, lol.

Managed it on hardcore as well :-)

Have to say I'm really enjoying the campaign now and like the way they have done it too. There is defo more gameplay then story and I like the stars rating at the end of each section. Gives campaign more life in that it needs a few run throughs.
I think the AI is actually pretty good too. Kept reviving me lol!

at least that'll stop stacked teams from spawn trapping people. Do they still have spawn protection?
