I was going to copy and paste the story here but there is a lot to copy and paste as this is a very detailed story and it's also 1:05 in the morning and I'm up for work shortly, so if you're interested in the story go check it out as it's a great read and some very interesting view points.

i saw the 7 minute gameplay and it did look kinda boring

Haven't read the whole article yet, will try to read the rest later, but from what I'm seeing, Destiny looks stunning and sounds interesting. Hope the guy who wrote that is wrong about it being boring. Was really looking forward to it.
