Did anyone notice in the beta that you are unable to toss grenades and roll away at the same time? I know you are able to in Gears 1 & 2 but not in the beta. I thought it was a glitch or lag but found it is part of the game. I hope they take this out.

Animation for throwing is slower.

Hmmm... I didn't really notice. :/
But it does seem like Epic wanting you to "THROW" your grenades now, so it would be in our interest for them to fix this.
