Infected Omen Skins Come W/ Gears 3 Controller?

Here's what I've been told

I tweeted Rod Ferguson (GearsViking) and Stacey Conley (iFlak) to find out about the controller skins.

Rod said that the controller comes with one skin, Stacey said that it is up to the retailers and suggested I call individual stores.


So I called the following and got these results.

The only retailer not to give me a clear answer on this was Walmart. None of their in store employees could answer the question and their website support said to contact the manufacturer.

So I called Microsoft and on two occasions they assured me that the LE controller comes with all 5 skins.


I then proceeded to contact Amazon several times. 4 on-line chat representatives and one of their phone line support reps confirmed the controller comes with all 5 skins.


Here is text I received via email from Gamestop customer support earlier today:

Dear Customer,

Thank you for contacting GameStop.com.

We apologize for the delay on a response. According to the information that we were provided, the controller comes with the Infected Omen Weapon 5-Pack. One token will unlock all 5 of the weapons.

So that's what I've been told. Could anyone shed some light as to whats really going on here?

walmart is a bad place to even ask about that, they won't tell you anything. as for the skins im not sure
