Hello from a new member

Hi All

This is my first forum I have ever joined so please excuse me if I do things wrong at first .

I have a question I am sure you guys can help me with , I have pre ordered the new GOW3 Console with the game , How do you transfer your profile , game saves and achievements from my old xbox to my new one .

I am a legit rank 100 on GOW2 and I don't want to lose my Rank

Can any body help please

Welcome to the forums!!

There are several ways to do this. One way is to buy a transfer cable which transfers everything from the old hard drive to the new one. Another way is to use a USB to transfer everything. Everything might not fit in one USB, so just transfer it in small amounts.

welcome bro enjoy the forums you can also get a memory card and move your profile onto that one and transfer to new harddrive

I know I am quite sad but I have just booked a week off work when GOW3 releases so I can get some serious gaming in , What are you guys doing when it releases .

Welcome to the forums buddy

You can recover your gamertag on your new console to keep your gamerscore/achievements but this method won't keep all your game saves etc. If you want all the rest then the methods describe above are pretty much all the ways to do it

Hi, just incase you need to know............. you can transfer downloadable content online... I know that much because ive done it... you dont actually need a transfer cable at all MS have a tool which is hard to find tbh but if you use google it should direct you to it.

same here i am level 100 and im getting the gears of war3 xbox and i dont want to loose it should i just put my saved game data onto a usb and then when i get the console i can just put it on the console
