Exclamation mark on ribbons?

So after a match you go into your stats and there is a orange (might be red lol) exclamation mark in a circle to tell you you got something new. But after I checked all the new ribbons I got the exclamation mark stays there and won't go away only on the ribbons tab. Anyone experience this it's dam annoying me lol

I've got exactly the same problem, I'm went over each ribbon so many times and it's still there. Ahhh it's so annoying! But i think the whole ribbon and medal system is brilliant

I've also found that they tend to come back after playing something else or simply come back after a couple of games of Gears. (No, not simply when getting the same award)

Just seems to happen on the ribbons tab that's all. Quite annoying when like me you like to keep looking at the ribbons/medals bit and you are tricked into thinking you got a new ribbon when you aint lol

Yeah happens to me to.. It annoys me as well lol.

Yeah I get the same prob, I looked at each medal twice over and its still hangin around. It does go away after awhile though.

Finally figured this out, it's because you got the 'Golden Wings Week' ribbon. There's no slot for it on the ribbon page so it just says theres a new ribbon all the time!
