Upcoming events

Didn't see a thread posted on this but participating in these events is needed if you want to unlock the Golden Gear and also one of the Onyx medals (which is needed for Seriously 3.0)

You can view events current, old and upcoming in the main menu in the game by selecting 'event calendar'.

Event 1
Golden Week (I'm a little late on making this thread but I'm sure it was the first or second week of release)

Event 2
07 October until the 10 October it's BIG HEAD weekend

Event 3
14 October to 17 October Torque Bow Tag (all torque bows, all the time)

Event 4
On the 18 October it's Ticker Tuesday - loads of Tickers in Horde, might be good to get the ONYX horde medal for doing it on insane in this event!

Thanks ninja, going to write these down so i do not forget them.

Tickers are actually annoying once you get to 30 with tickers.. Even with Tickers. 1-50 will not be a walk in the park. I already have the Onyx Medal for horde. As I posted strategy for it.

Also all of the events are on the main menu.. Click on the events thing. But for people who don't have live this would be helpful.

Tickers could kill you in one explosion in Insane Horde I'm guessing. But if you did Drydock the pipes you can get on would be great. But does it also count towards Boss Waves?

Now what? Does anyone know what the Tag in Torque Bow Tag refers to? I don think it means TDM with only Torque (like I have dreamt of), but it has to be something where you only get a torque if you are killed with it or something like that, in order for the "Tag" part to make sense.

That would be interesting!

Its probably refuring to the fact that when you shoot someone with it the arrow is "tagged" onto them, just a play on words, But who knows

No that's not true because there will be more events you won't need to be play in every single event. In the long run there will end up being more events than needed for the ONYX medal. But others will get the Golden Gear and the medal earlier than those who did not participate in every event so far. But if you are planning on the ONYX medal which is needed for Seriously 3.0 then it's better to play in as many events as possible.

Did you play in the playlist Big Head Mode?

On October 21-24 it's hardcore weekend if I remember correctly. I like Torque Bow Tag, but having the snub just ruins it.
