| Game Informer and Gamereactor magazine are coming to the UK.
Game Informer will begin selling digital subscriptions to UK gamers via its GameStop UK website. Gamereactor, meanwhile, will launch digital and physical magazines, with the latter given away on the High Street and universities.
Game Informer has built a reputation for working closely with developers and publishers to announce new games, enjoying a massive readership of 8.1 million ,helped along by distribution via GameStop stores. The mag’s move into the UK will only strengthen that position.
UK subscriptions to Game Informer at Gamestop.co.uk are already live, and cheap too, at just under £15.
“For more than 22 years, Game Informer has grown to meet the demand of an ever-widening group of readers,” Game Informer publisher Rob Borm said. "The launch of our monthly digital magazine in the UK and other regions outside the US is a natural progression for Game Informer, and we are excited to serve this wider global audience."
Gamereactor, meanwhile, is one of Europe’s biggest games publications. It is distributed for free in Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Norway and Germany, with a combined readership of over 300,000. It launches in the UK this month with a print run of 80,000 copies.
You’ll be able to pick it up for free from major retailers, independent shops, and some universities and colleges, on a “nearly monthly” basis. Eight copies will hit per year.
