Could Red Dead Redemption 2 be in production!?

Red Dead Redemption 2 is the awaited sequel to Red Dead Redemption and Red Dead Revolver. The second game in the series Red Dead Redemption, was one of the first open-world Western games to be released. People have been looking for evidence that Red Dead Redemption 2 was in production, and lately, there’s been some more credible evidence that the game is probably in production.

An engineer at Rockstar recently posted on one of his social media profiles that he was working on a sequel to a famous IP from Rockstar. He previously worked on the Max Payne series, but there are two more games from Rockstar besides Red Dead Redemption and Max Payne that could also be on the list to receive a sequel. They are Bully and Manhunt.

But, both of those games are fairly controversial, and in the past, Rockstar hasn’t given them a large budget because they do not sell as many copies as some of their other games. This means that either Red Dead Redemption 2 or Max Payne 4 could be in development. Red Dead Redemption was better received than Max Payne 3, so there is a good chance that Red Dead Redemption 2 is probably the game in development. Many people are wondering what features Red Dead Redemption 2 will have.

It’s safe to say that if Red Dead Redemption 2 isn’t coming anytime soon, then Red Dead Redemption will probably see a re-release on the new consoles, similar to what Rockstar did with Grand Theft Auto 5. The latest consoles have more graphical power than the previous ones, so development times for games have gotten longer and more expensive.

Even if Rockstar wanted to make another Red Dead Redemption, it’s possible that they are waiting to release the game because they are still adjusting to the new consoles and how to make games for them. Red Dead Redemption currently has a 94.5% on GameRankings.com, so the chances of a sequel coming out are fairly likely. The main question is when will Rockstar announce and then release the game?
