do you think anyone will play gears 2 when gears 3 comes out

Yeah. Some people won't like Gears of War 3.. very few.. But some will prefer Gears of War 2.. I believe people will still play it til it goes offline.

a lot of heads on my b list still play gears 2 even tho they bought gears 3 on launch day. but i don't really know any horde players, so i cant answer that part of your question.

I've been playing a bit of horde while it's 20x XP. I hadn't played multiplayer but I'm now level 26 after a few games.

I nipped on to it the other night but quickly went back to 3.....just didn't enjoy it as much as I used to!

yeah there is a big difference between the two & I miss the fortifications. However I did the few little achievements that I wanted and now I'm back on 3.

yea i just bought 1 and 2 to do whats needed in 3 but im looking forward to atleast trying horde on gow2

Went back on this recently and was surprised at how quick the 'intermission' between waves was - and how effective the boomshield was.....and how bloody insane the bloodmounts were....reminisce!

Quite enjoyed it but like Publik said above, missed the fortifications and stuff....back to 3 it is!
