Seriously 3.0

Any ideas/suggestions what this could be? I'm sure this will be one of the achievements (not 100% sure of course). Make a guess and in a few months time we'll see if anyone got it right or who got closest or maybe it will turn out not to be an achievement after all!

what i read about was that it wont be a set number of kills instead it would be achievement of the highest rank.
(Reach level 100, Complete campaign on insane,etc)

That's interesting since I read some things that a guy called Rod (from Epic apparently) was saying the seriously 3.0 will be spread over different game modes and levels etc like you said but then I read somewhere else that it's a fake rumour!

theres all sorts of rumors running around, ive read about that too on the radar forums, kills spread across campaign, horde/beast, and multiplayer, wont know until maybe after the beta

If it does turn out to be total kills I would guess it at 1 million total kills in the same way as Gears of War 2 where every kill from every game mode counts towards it

Gears 1 - 10000 kills
Gears 2 - 100000 kills
Gears 3 - 1000000 kills

I think it should be 1 million kills but i don't think it will

it has already been said it wont be like 1 million kills or anything like that

Seems like a mystery that needs solving.

Someone said on a xbox360forum: 'My guess is that they make it 15,000-20,000 kills in ranked matches ONLY.'

The current description of Seriously 3.0 looks a lot easier than it's predecessors. (It wasn't hard to get about 90% of the Ribbons, I like Horde/Campaign, and I've gotten my Wings twice.)

Somewhat of a relief, and a letdown at the same time.

I just hope its not 1,000,000 kills something retarded like that

I didn't get the Seriously in Gears 1 (but came close) and didn't get Seriously 2.0 in Gears 2 (but was close). But anyhow I will for sure be trying for Seriously 3.0

I didn't get seriously in gears 1 either, do kills from the campaign counts towards the achievement?

I think it was a multi-player only achievement wasn't it?

Not in the first Gears of War but in Gears of War 2 they do.

I have 60,000 kills in Gears of War 2. I doubt I will get the other 40,000 because I simply don't care to :-P. I have all the achievements but 4.

But seriously 3.0 will be an easy achievement if that 's all it is.

There are 4 empty stars on the bottom of each medal in the stats section on the main menu. There's one medal for killing X amount of human in beast mode, If you get as many kills as it tells you to, you unlock a bronze medal and it fills up one star under the medal. Then you get more kills and unlock a silver, gold then onyx and then all of the 4 stars fill up. So basically onyx is like Platinum. Hope that helped.

oh, okay, thanks yeah you did, it's pretty basic then. i thought it had something to do with my skill level or something.

are all medals obtainable on gears 3? as in, do you need to have played 1 or 2 to unlock certain ones? i know there are some things that are only unlockable if you have played the first games and the beta.
