Best Gears of War Game???

Theres always the hipster that says the first one is the best and then theres the guy that always buys the newest thing but what about everone else??

I voted the first one I dam miss playing 4 vs 4 Warzone on Mansion

Second one mainly because of Guardian.

I believe Gears of War 3 is the most solid, most functional, best and most balanced multiplayer experience in the entire trilogy

I'd say GoW 3. But all are awesome, I just happened to enjoy the GoW 3 Campaign more. And this post is focused on Campaign, Not Multiplayer like the others.

I love them all - however, I didn't own an xbox until last October so the third one is the only one I got on release day and as such, it has been brilliant sharing in all the excitement from the very start!

As much as I love the Horde in Gears 2, the fact everyone else was already in posession of their wings and clearly leagues ahead of me in all game modes made it slighlty less fun - not too much though!

Gearas one was just about the campaign for me, which is brilliant.

So yeah, Gears 3 for me - best game I have played overall so far.

I loved 1 and it was the first so it was incredibly refreshing and new.

The multiplayer in the 2nd was unplayable for me. It would take 30 min to get into a game. But I played Horde alllll the time with my dad which is why I can still say I loved the 2nd.

The third has a lot more to do in the game, with things to unlock and work towards, making the 3rd the most thorough game.

So honestly, it's so hard because each of them provided me a great experience (which may be the first game trilogy I can say that about). I voted 1st though just because it was the first to do what it did and I remember playing it was awe.

For me it's Gears 3. The best all-round game out of the three, although gears 1 and 2 were also good in their own ways

they were all great games but i agree with most of you that gears 3 is the most polished game out of the three.

Gears 3 I love and my 2nd favorite would be the first gears.

The 3rd is the best IMO. I like how you get to know Cole & Baird a bit more. Also Beast & Horde are just great.

I loved all of them but I have to say Gears of War 2 is my favorite. 3 really is better online obviously but as far as the campaign, 2 will be my favorite for a long time.
