I played the entire campaign splitscreen multiple times, I play a lot of splitscreen and never once encountered this bug

So does this bug only trigger from split screen Horde or split-screen in general? I've been postponing Insane co-op with a buddy of mine because I'm not sure if it has the chance of screwing our profiles =/
