Stuck at blank screen?

Hi everyone,

Apologies if this has been asked before, but I'm new to the forum and to the game. I'm right at the beginning of the game, just followed Anya down the corridor and into the bright light. I understand that this should lead straight out into a battle? Instead the screen just stays totally white! I've restarted plenty of times, cleaned the disc etc... It's a new Xbox too, so that shouldn't be a problem. Am I doing something obviously wrong here? Has anyone else had this problem?

Any help would be very welcome.

if i remember rightly that light should only last for about 20-30 seconds. how long are you giving it? if its longer then a minute then i'd say exchange the game for another copy, its probably corrupt information on the disc
