Retro Lancer

What are members thoughts on the retro lancer? I gave this gun a try a few games and just feel that it is not very accurate and sprays way too much. I am a fan of the hammerburst and will probably be sticking to that.

its a cross between a shotgun and an AR.. and its 100% true.. you can burst fire to be accurrate or hold the trigger down to shoot like a shotgun and rape up close

Thats cool. Maybe I will give it another try tonight and see if I can burst fire to get it a little more accurate. I would like it for up close battles instead of having to switch to the shotty real quick all the time

I use the Gnasher & Retro Lancer loadout.
The stopping power of the retro is too powerful to ignore and is fantastic when defending the high ground.

i love retro lancer and i love the shotty for up close stuff

I dunno about this Retro Lancer I just got my first kill with it and it sure felt good but I think the chainsaw is better. Although meleeing with the retro is pretty good but other than that I prefer the original lancer

Wanted to say thanks for the advice. I used the retro lancer last night with your suggestions and it owned. That gun is no joke.

I changed my mind with the Retro Lancer I now prefer it over the chainsaw lancer (not tried the Hammerburst much).

I gave the regular lancer a try and did not like it as much. I played 2 games with it and that was enough. Retro lancer FTW

If you are a Locust and there's a COG charging you from behind you can't here the COG coming but if you are a COG and the Locust is charging you from behind you can here the Locust coming because of the roars and so have a chance to get out of the way.

Sounds a bit unfair to me. I'm sure the COGs make a noise when charging but last night playing as locusts I got stabbed a few times from behind with out any warning the COG was coming.

(oh and I'm talking about the Retro Lancer here people not a porn movie I've just re-read it lol could sound rather funny)

hahaha! and yeah i got what you meant i just like the non intended joke. as for the sounds it is a bit unfair that locust get heard and cogs don't get heard so COG's have an advantage

Both make the noist lol when they charge with the Retro Lancer but for some reason when I posted that I couldn't hear the COGS at all. Seems all fair again now. It's also a good weapon for Melee too
