The 'bad news of the week' award was a close call this week, but 2K Sports seemed to edge it this week with news of their server closure for NBA 2K12. Servers remain online for Major League Baseball 2K12, NBA 2K13 and a handful of older titles.

Rumours have been circling for quite a while regarding Dragonborn DLC for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This week, Bethesda confirmed that the expansion was indeed real and would be heading onto the marketplace in December. Check out the trailer for more information. While we're on the subject of DLC, the upcoming release of Robomodo's Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD level expansion has been fraught with problems. However, the certification issues have now been laid to rest and the DLC will also be released in December.

THQ suffered more financial difficulties with the announcement of their Q2 results. The bad news has resulted in Metro: Last Light and South Park: The Stick of Truth both suffering delays into fiscal year 2014. Although those two titles will still see the light of day, TikGames' Chucky: Wanna Play? isn't as lucky. Their Kickstarter bid to help fund the project appeared to be failing miserably, so the campaign was cancelled along with all hopes of the game reaching fruition. However, the developer in the biggest amount of trouble this week is Silicon Knights. After several trade secret violations over their use of Epic's Unreal Engine 3, Silicon have now been ordered to destroy all unsold copies of Too Human and X-Men: Destiny. Grab them while you can!

The pre-order bonuses for Gears of War: Judgment were confirmed this week. All retailers will carry the classic Hammerburst, for which Microsoft's Major Nelson provided a trailer. Pre-orders have also started for Grand Theft Auto V now that a release window has been confirmed. More details emerged on the latter title courtesy of Game Informer. We've included the juiciest bits for you.

Finally, those players who have never ventured into the world of Assassin's Creed will now be given the perfect opportunity. Ubisoft revealed the Assassin's Creed Anthology bundle, which will include all five Xbox 360 games to date and a decent chunk of the DLC. The full list of content can be found in the article below.
