| Subject: Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zero finished in 2hours?! Wed Feb 05, 2014 9:19 pm | |
| Bit low on news it seems today but found this quite interesting. According to a preview and cover story in the March issue of Game Informer, Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes can apparently be completed in just two hours, with a speed run possible in a mere five minutes.
"Judged just by the core story mission, Ground Zeroes is short," the magazine observes in the new issue. "We completed it in just less than two hours. Konami says internal testers can speed run the main mission in around five minutes. How quickly it takes to complete the main mission and explore the camp is up to the player, but the extra missions give the game a little more replayability."
Remember the Metal Gear Solid 2 demo that came with Zone of the Enders on PS2? Think of it as a "paid, standalone version" of that, the magazine adds. Those extra missions are the Xbox-exclusive Jamais Vu mission and the PlayStation-only Deja Vu mission.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will retail for £29.99/$29.99 for the last-gen physical disc or £19.99/$19.99 for the digital downloadable version. The next-gen downloadable version will cost £29.99/$29.99 and the physical retail alternative will carry a £39.99/$39.99 price tag.
Of course, reserving judgement until actual reviews surface is worth bearing in mind. Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is out in March. | |
